About Me

My Name is Lauren Pettigrew

I am currently a senior at UTampa, graduating early in December with a degree in Advertising & Public Relations. I have been studying for the GRE this summer and plan on starting a Masters of Communication program Fall of 2021, where hopefully I will be specializing in Intercultural/International Communications Research. I am unsure of what Grad School I will attend, so I have been on the hunt for the best program!

I am a "nerd", I love every aspect of school; doing homework, projects, and even tests. I try my best to get everything I can out of a course that I am paying for! 

I am from Peoria, Illinois, a small town about 2 and a half hours south of Chicago. My town is very tiny, with a population of about 3,000. My graduating class was 250 people. I have an older sister, Natalie, who lives in San Francisco and works for a custom interior design firm. 

Some of my favorite things include cooking, going out with friends--not so much these days, reading (both theory and fiction), watching movies, and spending time with the people I love most.
