Pixelate Art

Above is my final Pixel Art. This was an interesting project and it was fun to try and see how the image would translate throughout each iteration.I chose art by one of my favorite artists, Robert Beatty. He has always created jarring and amazing art that I really love. As for how I created this, I just pixel blurred it in Gimp and then put it in Gimp. I then had to figure out how I would recreate this again and what shape I would use to cover it or recreate it. I originally wanted to use circles to recreate the pixels but decided to use the hexagon shape to create a new shape. I didn't want to use regular squares, I wanted to try something new. I think you can still get the feel of the shape of the art with these new shapes.
